offer a great selection of premier Longhorn bulls, cows, and
heifers. Our herd sire, Gatillero, sired by J.R. Grand
Slam, promotes the Gunman bloodline that is evident in the size,
conformation, and horn growth of our calves. In addition,
Bordeaux is our Toro Negro grandson. Toro Negro is the
sire of Overwhelming Toro,
judged at the 2004 Horn Showcase to be the Texas longhorn bull
with the widest horns (tip-to-tip measurement) at 73 3/8".

Of the 61,306 bulls registered with the TLBAA since 1964, only a
choice few have been AI certified to date.
TLBAA AI Certificate #1 belongs to Texas Ranger JP. Bred and owned
by Jack Phillips of Battle Island Ranch, West Columbia, Texas, the
bull was certified in December, 1972. TLBAA AI Certificate #626 belongs to Gatillero. Owned
by Carol Carlson of C.C. Land & Cattle Co., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
the bull was certified in September, 2005. |
